The category Sami Traditions consists of a variety of folklore records, mainly in Skolt Sami, Northern Sami, and Norwegian. The collections after Isak Saba and Just Qvigstad are the largest ones, and contain oral narratives from the late 19^th century and the first part of the 20^th century. In addition to folktales, legends, leudd, and religious songs, the collections also contain letters, photos, diaries, and published manuscripts. An example is Moltke Moe's draft for the introduction of Qvigstad's book Lappiske Eventyr (Lappish Folk Tales, 1887). Another example is Om sammensatte lappiske stedsnavn (On Composite Lappish Place Names), an offprint signed by Isak Saba in 1920.
